OPERATION
After installing ACTExplorer, restart ACT. You should see a new Tab in the Contact View called "ACTEx". Although it is similar (in concept) to the Profile Tab already provided with ACT, it presents a more generic and therefore more flexible internet tool and also adds several other key features explained below.

When you click on the ACTEx Tab, you will see the very familiar user interface of Internet explorer.

Attach the whole web page
In addition to the normal features of IE, ACTEx also lets you quickly attach the currently displayed web page to the current contact. A "Save Web Page as..." dialog is presented so that you can specify where and by what name the Web Page (*.htm) or Web Archive (*.mht) is stored and attached.

This feature compliments another great Add-On, ShellACT available at http://www.photoact.net/shellact

Attach individual images
By right-clicking on a picture in the current web page, you can elect to either attach the picture to the contact or save it to disk.

This feature compliments another great Add-On, PhotoACT available at http://www.photoact.net which displays one or more pictures with each contact directly within ACT!

Automatically Navigate to Contact's Web Site.
By default, ACTEx automatically navigates to the current contact's Web site (if specified). You can disable this features via the ACTEx Options button.

Automatically use Contact's Email Address
By default, ACTEx automatically inserts the current contact's email address (if specified) when sending the web page as a link. You can disable this features via the ACTEx Options button.
